The John and Joanne Diederich Advisory Fund was created to support the Diederich Family’s philanthropic objectives.
John Diederich is a lifelong Auroran and a 1987 graduate of Marmion Military Academy.
He started his career at Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora as a dishwasher in 1985. He now has achieved the position of senior vice president, operations and chief operating officer of the Rush-Copley Medical Center.
In 1991, Mr. Diederich earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. Two years later, he received his master of arts degree in hospital and health administration and his master of business administration degree.
He currently is a board member of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, Marmion Academy Board of Trustees and Marmion Academy Alumni Association.
Mr. Diederich also served as past chairman of the Board of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce and board member of the Aurora Economic Development Commission and the Kiwanis Club of Aurora.
Joanne Diederich is also a lifelong Auroran. She is a 1989 graduate of Rosary High School.
She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Aurora University.
She volunteers for multiple Aurora organizations and non-profit organizations including the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, Holy Angels School, Marmion Academy, Paramount Theatre, Rosary High School and Rush-Copley Foundation.
The Diederichs have three boys – Jack, Dominic and Matthew.
