Bella Zidell


Bella Zidell, 97, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was born on December 9, 1913 in Aurora.

Bella attended elementary and high school in West Aurora School District 129 and graduated college from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. She received her Masters' degree from the National College of Education.

She taught kindergarten, first and second grades for 50 years in the West Aurora School District 129.

Bella was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association, American Association of University Women, Women's Club of Aurora and Hadassah.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Foundation Memorial Endowment Fund or Temple Bnai Israel.
