Margaret June Lamoreaux, 85 of Aurora, was called home to be with the Lord on Easter morning Sunday, April 4, 2010. She was born in Blue Island, IL in 1925 but grew up in Tracy, CA. She graduated from Tracy High School and attended the College of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. June married Donald C. Lamoreaux in October of 1945 in Aurora, IL.

June was a very active member of First United Methodist Church for over 60 years serving in many capacities and on many committees. She also belonged to Chapter LB of the PEO Sisterhood, Aurora Woman's Club, Jennings Terrace Auxiliary, Child Welfare Society, Church Women United and was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for Mercy Center Hospital, the Aurora Historical Society and belonged to several card clubs.

Survivors include her son David (LouAnn) Lamoreaux of Land O'Lakes, WI., daughter Judy (James) Bauer of North Aurora; grandchildren, Shari (Eric) Scroggins, Lori (Jon) Wallace, all of Aurora, Tonya (Daniel) Dittman, Stephanie (Scott) Ahlswede, Ashley (Derrick) Hanson all of Pulaski, WI., Christine Lamoreaux of Chicago, MN.; great-grandchildren McKayla and Kyler Scroggins, Sydni and Tessa Wallace, Alisha, Amber and Emma Ahlswede and Zachary Halvorson and a sister Wilma Jean Anderson of Tracy, CA.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband Don; her parents Laura and Merle Garrison as well as a sister Patricia Engle.

A memorial service will take place at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at The Healy Chapel, 332 West Downer Place, Aurora with Pastor Jeff Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Private interment will be at Spring Lake Cemetery.
