The Community Foundation
of the Fox River Valley provides grants
in the following designated
charitable categories: |
|
|
|
|
Education, Social Services, Health Care,
the Arts
and Humanities |

| |
|
|
Please refer to our
annual reports for
a listing of
grants awarded during the past several years.

Grants are made to non-profit agencies
located in the Foundation's service area which includes the Greater
Aurora Area, the TriCities and Kendall County in the State of Illinois.

In general, grants shall be made for
capital purposes only, not for operating expenses.
-
Evidence of 501(c)(3) and 170(b)(1)(A) tax
status must be submitted with all applications. Lack of such
status is rare among applicants.

Preference will be given to requests that
demonstrate the most urgent and immediate need for funding.

Grants are ordinarily made for one year
only.

The Community Foundation of
the Fox River Valley rarely provides the
entire support of a project.
-
Grants are not generally available for
those agencies and institutions that are funded primarily through tax
support.
