Waubonsee Community College Dunham Early College Academy Fund

The Waubonsee Community College Dunham Early College Academy offers 11th grade students attending East or West Aurora High School the opportunity to participate in a college program of study at Waubonsee Community College.

Students chosen for the program attend Waubonsee Community College every afternoon to take classes and confer with counselors.

The program is intended to immerse students in the college experience and to encourage their future educational decisions.

Funding for the academy was made possible through a grant from the Dunham Fund.  The Dunham Fund is a private foundation created by John C. Dunham.

This innovative program reflects Mr. Dunham’s belief in the value of education and entrepreneurship.
