Harriet C. Stephens
Harriet Stephens is a lifelong resident of Aurora. She graduated from East Aurora High School as a member of the National Honor Society.
Mrs. Stephens has been involved with many local organizations including life member of the PTA, Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader, past president of the Child Welfare Society, the Tuesday Garden Club and the Aurora Junior Woman’s Club.
She also has been a board member of the Paramount Arts Centre Endowment, United Way of Aurora, Wesley United Methodist Church, White Cross Auxiliary and YWCA Aurora.
Additionally, Mrs. Stephens served on the Governor’s Illinois Vision 2000 Committee and was a recipient of the Aurora YWCA Woman of Distinction Award.
The Harriet C. Stephens Scholarship Fund provides one-time awards to graduates of East or West Aurora High School who are members of the National Honor Society.
