Ted & Abby Laatz
The Laatz Family Foundation is an advisory fund established by Ted and Abby Laatz to support the efforts of charitable organizations throughout the Aurora/Fox Valley area which contribute to the physical, educational and spiritual well-being of children and youth.
Ted Laatz, a life long resident of Aurora, is a graduate of Marmion Military Academy and Bradley University, where he earned a degree in business administration.
He is a regional vice-president for United Country Real Estate. In addition, Mr. Laatz is past president of the Aurora Tri-County Association of Realtors and is currently a member of the Marmion Academy Alumni Board and the Rotary Club of Aurora.
Abby Siegert Laatz, originally from Rock Island, Illinois, graduated from Bradley University with a degree in psychology.
She continued her education at the Montessori Education Centers Associated in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Mrs. Laatz was a teacher in the Aurora area and created an E-Commerce business in the years following the birth of their two sons. She now is serving the community as a volunteer for several organizations.
