The Hamling Family Nursing Scholarship Fund was created as a memorial to Kathleen Hamling by her family.
Scholarships from the fund are reserved for students entering the field of nursing who are residents of the Community Foundation's service area.
Graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students or graduate level students are eligible to apply for these awards.
Students must attend an accredited institution of higher learning on a full-time basis for the purpose of attaining a degree in nursing, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
