The Alexander Advisory Fund was created to support the Alexander Family’s philanthropic objectives.

The family has been engaged in the lumber business for over one hundred years.

In 1891, John Alexander launched the Alexander Lumber Company in Aurora and, by the late 1920s, he operated over one hundred lumber yards.
