Recent Grants
The Community Foundation recently awarded charitable grants to the following local organizations. Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry received $26,925 for computer equipment. Aurora University received $100,000 for the construction of their Welcome Center. CASA Kane County received $10,219 for a computer server. DuPage Children’s Museum received $10,000 for a walkway and retaining wall. Mission Possible received $10,000 for dental equipment. Mutual Ground received $9,500 for renovations. St. Charles Singers received $9,025 for computers, software, and office equipment. SciTech Museum received $10,000 for a sound system. United Way of Central Kane County received $4,408 for a copy machine. These grants were made possible through the thoughtfulness of donors who have contributed to one of our unrestricted funds and also through the generosity of individuals who have created their own unrestricted charitable funds within our organization.
